Again I witnessed heaven on earth for the umpteenth time. When you set foot near the beach, you can only stare and take a deep breath. It’s natural to be surprised to see the beautiful expanse of the sea covered in the dazzling sky. The name is Malimbu beach which is located in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This province is endless to explore. The hill that rises on the beachside is also called Malimbu hill.
This beach is still a continuation of the legendary Senggigi beach. This beach can be reached by land about two hours away by vehicle via the Lombok Sheet port. More specifically, this beach is passed if I travel overland to Bangsal port which takes me across to Gili Trawangan.
The trip was quite tiring because I almost didn’t feel the motorbike ride anymore because of the extraordinary beauty of the coast. Lombok again taught me a lesson that indeed for something very beautiful in life it takes a process and hard work to achieve it and this is the beach and the hills of Malimbu.
I never stop expressing my admiration for this beautiful nature to my friends who are also amazed by the beauty of this beach. Even though it took me almost a day to get to Lombok from the Island of the Gods, I was lucky enough to get what was right in front of my eyes.

There are no hotels or inns here because it is a stretch of beach and community settlements that are quite far from each other. We recommend looking for a hotel on Senggigi beach. There is a Mascot Hotel and Resort which directly faces Senggigi beach. Prices per room at this hotel start from IDR 350,000. The next day it would be very appropriate to go straight to Malimbu and continue to Gili Trawangan.
So don’t miss this beach if you travel to Lombok, guaranteed you won’t regret coming here. If you want to go faster to this location, you can rent a speed boat from Bali even though the price is quite expensive but it’s back to you which one you want to choose.
